I truly appreciate receiving the endorsement of the San Diego Progressive Democrats of America. It is groups like this that elevate the conversation about critical issues and threats to democracy. We heard from Jimmy Lovett Jr of the San Diego Public Library about the banning of books. It seems that America is at a crossroad and it will take all of us to find innovative and pragmatic paths forward. I plan to do all I can to faithfully serve the public good at the Board of Equalization.
