The Board of Equalization administers California’s property tax system. Property taxes fund schools, community services, local amenities such as parks, beaches and emergency services.

Supporters of Public Education – OC

I enjoyed meeting with the Supporters of Public Education OC on January 23. We learned about the challenges to education by propaganda. I heard of the Honesty in Education movement. As a parent of children who were students in Capistrano Unified School District, I have long been concerned about the politicisation of education. My mother was a revered teacher at Cypress College. My wife, sister, and son are all educators. I was once a PTA Treasurer. I do hope that you will consider a teacher friendly candidate when you vote for the Board of Equalization.
