The Board of Equalization administers California’s property tax system. Property taxes fund schools, community services, local amenities such as parks, beaches and emergency services.

Closing loopholes and providing transparency and access to build public trust and cooperation.

Seal Beach Leisure World Democratic Club

I truly enjoyed meeting with the Seal Beach Leisure World Democratic Club on January 19. We had a lively discussion about how difficult it is to balance the need for revenue with protections for family homeowners. I know that Californians will be well served by my thirty years experience in Property Tax assessment my commitment to provide the leadership necessary to have the Property Tax system work for everyone.
